Vision

A proposition suspended between speculation and reality

With Emerald Forest, we have created a Vision for future relaxation. True relaxation can not be reached with social media or 50 Calls a day, that's why our Emerald Forest resort won't have any internet connection and Phones will be seized at the beginning of your stay. We are focusing on bringing real relaxation to life, that's why we choose a location which is not even near of civilisation. Connect with nature and just breathe...

Architecture

Material language, silhouette, and spatial discipline

The architecture of Emerald Forest blends modern minimalism with immersive nature. The resort is built as a low-profile structure that surrounds a vast central garden enclosed beneath a transparent spherical dome. Inside this dome, a dense natural ecosystem of large trees, waterfalls, ponds and wildlife forms the living heart of the resort. The buildings themselves remain deliberately calm and clean, using natural materials such as stone, glass and warm wood. Large panoramic windows open the interiors toward forests, cliffs and water landscapes, creating a seamless transition between architecture and wilderness. Instead of dominating the environment, the architecture frames it. The resort feels less like a constructed hotel and more like a hidden sanctuary embedded within the forest.

Low-profile architecture designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest landscape Buildings arranged around a large central garden enclosed by a transparent glass sphere Clean modern forms combined with natural materials such as stone, glass and warm wood Flat rooflines and horizontal compositions to preserve the natural skyline of the forest Extensive panoramic glazing to frame views of the valley, forest and water landscapes Interiors designed to maintain visual connection with nature from nearly every space Central garden acts as the spatial and emotional core of the resort Natural water elements integrated throughout the architecture, including pools, streams and waterfalls Spa areas designed as organic stone landscapes rather than traditional rectangular pools Outdoor terraces and infinity pools positioned to emphasize the cliffside valley views Circulation designed as calm walking paths that connect garden, spa, lake and forest Lighting strategy focused on warm, indirect lighting to preserve a quiet and intimate atmosphere

Experience

The emotional register of arrival and inhabitation

Emerald Forest is designed as a complete retreat from the outside world. Access is invitation-only, reached through a single road that winds quietly through the surrounding forest. Guests arrive at a discreet entrance courtyard where private drivers drop them off before the resort disappears again into nature. Inside, the experience is centered around calm, space and immersion. The heart of the resort is the vast indoor garden beneath the glass sphere, where towering trees, waterfalls, ponds and wildlife create a living landscape that guests can wander through at any time. Water is present throughout the resort. Natural stone pools, warm herbal baths and cascading waterfalls create a continuous spa environment that flows between interior and exterior spaces. Beyond the main building, the surrounding wilderness becomes part of the experience. A forest tennis court, a secluded lake for swimming and canoeing, and quiet walking paths lead through untouched nature. There is no internet. No digital noise. The environment is designed to slow the mind and heighten awareness of the surroundings. Emerald Forest is not meant to entertain. It is meant to remove everything unnecessary.
